MY EYELASH EXTENSION EXPERIENCE

Have you ever thought of doing an eyelash extension? Well, eyelash extension is a process where we apply extension to the eyelashes to enhance the length, thickness and fullness of natural eyelashes. Of course we don’t simply do it ourselves, we ask a professional to do it. Unless you don’t mind having no eyelash for the whole month. If you ever wonder of getting one but still not sure about it, let me help you get your answer!

BEFORE GETTING IT
Before you decide getting one, I suggest that you do some research about places that did eyelash extension professionally. Search for a place that have a good review and maybe ask people around you whether they know any good places. BUT! Before you listen to your friend, make sure you do a proper research about the place. Search for their website, Facebook or Instagram to see their eyelash extension masterpiece.  Remember, once you did it, you will have to stick with it for few weeks or months. Well, you can actually remove it, but you have to pay for it and it’s a waste of time. Don’t forget to search for the tips on how to maintain it where I will mention it in this post.

DURING THE PROCESS
The process will require you to lie down and you will have to close your eyes for the whole session. The session duration will depends on the place you choose. It usually takes 40 minute to an hour. But sometime it can reach to 2 hours. It really depends on the situation. The process basically involve fake eyelash and… glue?

AFTER THE PROCESS
Well, after the process. You supposedly get you desired eyelash. You will look like you are using fake eyelash but it don’t feel like you’re using one. People that used to wearing fake eyelashes will eventually know how it feels wearing fake lashes. If you end up choosing a good place, it will eventually feel like nothing.

HOW TO MAINTAIN
1.       You are not supposed to get it wet the first day you do it, keep it dry.
2.       Wash your face using a towel. Instead of rinsing it with water, wipe the foam with wet towel until your face is totally clean.
3.       Comb it daily with a lash wand or maybe a small comb.
4.       You can also dry it by using hairdryer. But make sure you use the cool setting for it.
5.       Use cotton bud to clean your eye make-up and try using water-based make-up remover
6.       Do not rub your eyes!
7.       Don’t pull the extension by yourself. You might accidently pull out your real lashes.

PRO’S AND CON’S
PRO’S
1.       Save time in terms on doing your make up. No more Fake lashes and mascara.
2.       Save money? Yes, if you are the person who wears new pair of fake lashes everytime.(ME!)
3.       You don’t rub your eyes often because you are taking care of your extension. (Rubbing your eyes is bad)
4.       Your face will still look gorgeous without make-up.
5.       You will eventually learn how to wash your face gently.
CON’S
1.       Removing your eye make- up will be a little time consuming.
2.       It will look a little weird sometime. (Rarely)
3.       Expensive for those people who does not care about eyelashes.
4.       You have to take good care of it, which is quite annoying for some people.
5.       Sometime, your real eyelashes will shed together with the extension.

OVERVIEW

My first day 22/12/16                               Latest picture 10/01/17

I will definitely do the eyelash extension again! It makes me look better with or without make-up. Most importantly, I don’t have to deal with the eyelash glue for a month. My eyelash extension is still on until now, you can check out my latest picture on my Instagram.  I state down the facebook and Instagram for the person who did my first eyelash extension below and you can check her out. She did a really good job for my lashes and I did not regret it.

HOW TO HAVE A GOOD START IN 2017?

Let’s not specified the year and let the title change to “How to have a good start EVERYDAY”. In my opinion, we have to start  our day with a good start to have a good end of the day. Is it hard? Let me share with you a little tip to make it easier for you;

Think Positive
If anyone of you here have no idea on how to think positive, the hack here is…. Try to think other way around. Negative people prone to think of something bad. Rather than spoiling your mind with a bad thought, why don’t you try to think the other way around? For example, I am quite a negative person sometime, I will constantly think that something bad will eventually happen to me. But, think at the bright side, do worrying about it makes it better? NO! You will eventually be afraid of everything. “Why should I blog if nobody will read it?”. But isn’t it better to try rather than making your own assumption. Can you get what I mean? Think more of the good side.

MAKE GOAL THAT IS REACHABLE
It’s easy to make goals for your life. But is it easy to reach it? Try making goals that you think it’s possible. If you like sugar so much, try NO SUGAR FOR A DAY. Don’t try to go for NO SUGAR FOR A MONTH thingy. When you eventually reach your goal, trust me. It will make your day. Rather than setting higher goal that will result to failure and ruin your day. But! Don’t set a goal that is too easy for you. Setting goals mean reaching for something that you haven’t reach before.

MAKE A HABIT TRACKER
Above is an example of a Habit Tracker. I’ve been using this Habit Tracker since the last few months and it helps me a lot especially in motivating me. I usually use this to track my habit such as, making meal, making the bed, cleaning, laundry and etc. Habit tracker helps me a lot in making sure I don’t forget small things like making my bed and laundry. Whenever I saw my meal planning is mostly tick (√), it will motivate me to do more. It makes me feel like I have achieved something. It also teaches you on how to be more discipline.

3 THINGS THAT YOU ARE THANKFUL FOR
Have you ever sit down and think about things that you are thankful for that day/month or year? If you haven’t, give it a try. We are too busy complaining about life until we forgot to notice things we should be thankful for. You don’t have to be thankful for something big. Small things are enough for you to remember to appreciate each and every thing that happens in your everyday life. For an example, food that we got to eat, day that we got to spend and vehicle that we got to ride. Not everybody got the privilege to have what you have. If we learn to be thankful on small things that happen to our life, we will eventually learn to appreciate more.

ENCOURAGE INSTEAD OF COMPLAINTS
Complaint is the thing we do each and every day. But if try changing our mind-set to encourage rather than complaining, we might get a positive income out of it. Rather that we complaint that we have a lot of paper work to do, might as well we encourage ourselves to focus and get it done so that we have nothing else to think about. We will not get anything done by complaining, it will only make things worse. So, instead of complaining, let’s start encouraging ourselves to do better!

HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH THE PEOPLE AROUND YOU
DON’T CREATE DRAMA. Have a good relationship with people around you no matter who they are. You don’t want to start your day with anger. Communicate wisely with people around you and be friendly. If you don’t have anything nice to say, keep it to yourself. If you don’t like something, voice it out in a good way. Don’t try to hurt somebody else feeling just because you are hurt. It’s not easy to end a drama, so don’t create it.

WAKE UP EARLY AND GO TO BED EARLY
Starting your day early is a very good start. Waking up early means you will not turn up late to work and you will be more productive. You will have a lot of job done and time for yourself. BUT! This means that you have to go to bed early too. You don’t want to start your day being grumpy and uncomfortable because you don’t have enough sleep last night. Good sleep equal to a good day.

APPRECIATE EACH AND EVERY MOMENT
SLOW DOWN!!! You are going to fast people. Don’t forget to appreciate every moment in your life. Love the people around you and appreciate the beautiful moment in your life. Good things do not come often. So, appreciate it. You will eventually miss it one day. Love your parent and kids unconditionally. Remember that parent grows old and your kids grow up. By the time you realize how important they are to you, your kids are already married. He/she might don’t have the time to spend it with you. So while they are around, appreciate the moment. Create the moment if possible.  Don’t wait until it’s too late.

So that is my entire tip on how to start your 2017 with a good start. Hope it will be useful to everybody and have a great 2017. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
